Help those with memory loss grow their community

Connect: Where Love Never Forgets is a weekly program for people living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other types of dementia. This program offers a unique opportunity for participants to not only receive support but also contribute to the growth of their community. By joining the program, individuals can engage in activities that promote cognitive stimulation, social interaction, and a sense of belonging. This program not only benefits the participants by providing companionship, but also provides caregivers a weekly break, where the they can run an errand, take care of business, or relax.

Benefits:

  • An environment filled with warmth, support, and love.
  • An encounter where loved ones are nurtured, inspired and encouraged.
  • An experience filled with activities where participants are challenged physically, cognitively, and emotionally.
  • A setting of socialization with peers, where friendships are built, and where the quality of lives are improved.
  • Staff, volunteers, and friends are all encouraged to participate together to create an environment where all participants feel equal in their engagement and enjoyment in the program.
  • A place where many opportunities are presented for loved ones to express themselves, to maintain their identity, to impart wisdom to others, to bring joy to everyone around them, and to fulfill their purpose, while also giving a purpose to the leaders, supporters, and volunteers of the program.
  • Caregiver support on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month
  • A weekly break, where the caregiver can run an errand, take care of business, or relax.
  • Trained professionals provide supervision, lead activities, and serve a nutritious lunch.
  • We do not require a diagnosis nor a referral. No medicines are passed. We simply provide a community for our Friends to build relationships and to spend time doing wonderful activities with loving and warm people.
